John Henry "Doc" Holliday - August 14, 1851- November 8, 1887 was an American dentist, gambler and gunfighter of the American Old West. Doc was born in Griffin, GA. to a wealthy southern family.
Doc is usually remembered for his friendship with Wyatt Earp and his involvement in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
Doc spent the last days of his life there and the last two months before his death, he didn't even go out of his room. As the end came near, Doc had his bowie knife and six shooter on the table next to his bed. Doc Holliday died on November 8, 1887.
